Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. She is of Italian (from her maternal grandpa), Irish (from her mother), German, English, and Scottish origins. Linda was the youngest child of four children in San Francisco Bay, California. The acting bug grew in her when she was ten years old as she performed as a vocalist in an annual school Christmas performance. Her next stage was performing at school and community theater. Linda went to Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California.
